Manuel Maria Ponce short biography

A noted Mexican composer, Manuel Maria Ponce started his piano studies in Mexico and completed his music education in Italy and Germany. In 1923, Andres Segovia suggested that Ponce writes music for the guitar. Ponce’s guitar compositions proved to be very successful, filled with lovely melodies and have been used by the modern guitarists.
